NJHS Serves

At Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School, members of the National Junior Honor Society are called to live out our Catholic faith through service to others. Inspired by the words of Scripture, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40), our students actively serve the community by preparing and serving meals to the homeless at Tampa Hope, volunteering with Metropolitan Ministries, organizing clothing drives and fundraisers, and participating in beach cleanups and other outreach projects. Guided by the example of Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta, who reminded us to “Do small things with great love,” NJHS members grow as servant leaders by putting faith into action and sharing Christ’s love through service.

Through these experiences, students at Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School strive to exemplify integrity, responsibility, and compassion, forming hearts and minds committed to serving God and others both within our school community and beyond.
