Give the Gift of Peace this Christmas Service Project

Dear Students, Parents, Guardians, and Faculty & Staff,

I am thrilled to announce that the “Give the Gift of Peace this Christmas” service project has received an overwhelming response from our school community. In response to our call for donations and acts of service, many of you generously donated online and service tickets and donations began pouring into the office. I am grateful for your prompt response and cannot thank you enough for allowing God to work through you to provide for the children in the shelter. I am pleased to share a photo of the children with you and thank you once again for your continued support.

The presents have been wrapped and are ready for delivery to the shelter this Wednesday. If you can help deliver, we are still in need of a few volunteers. We extend a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Spriggs for her generous donation of time, as she gave up half of her morning to wrapping. Additionally, I would like to express our gratitude to Mrs. Caraker, Mrs. Papillo and Mrs. Pratt for their invaluable assistance. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of these individuals,  our students, families, faculty, and staff, we can bring some much-needed joy and holiday cheer to the children in the shelter.

This past Saturday, our families organized a wonderful Christmas party for the children. The event was a huge success and brought a lot of joy to them. They enjoyed delicious food and had a great time decorating their stockings. The highlight of the day was a visit from Santa, who brought smiles to all the children’s faces. We would like to express our gratitude to our families for their support and for making this event possible. It was truly a memorable day for everyone involved. A special thank you to Mrs. Lehtomaa for chairing the event and donating the food, Mr. Gonzalez for Santa, and our parents who donated the cookies and Christmas crafts. We thank you for your support!

We are honored to have so many parents, students, and faculty, and staff who share in the same mission as Mother Teresa, to serve the poor and marginalized. We recognize the tireless efforts of Mother Teresa and strive to continue her legacy of love and sacrifice in our own school community. We are blessed to have families who are willing to dedicate themselves to this noble cause and we pray that God blesses you and your families.

Sincerely,

Mrs. DeMicheli
