The Crusaders of Hope Service Club had the opportunity this week to learn about the ToyMakers of East Lake and to sand toys for them. The ToyMakers of East Lake is a non-profit organization that produces and donates brightly painted, hand-made wooden toys to sick and needy children. They have donated approximately 500,000 toys to agencies in our communities and in 2023, they anticipate donating approximately 18,000 toys to children in need. Crusaders of Hope Club Visits Nursing Home
The students of our Crusaders of Hope Service Club had a wonderful opportunity to serve the residents of Angels Senior Living Nursing Home. They spent the day doing a craft with the residents and getting to know them. It was a heartwarming experience for all involved. The students were able to bring a little bit of joy and happiness to the residents, who were so grateful for the attention. We are proud of our students for their commitment to service and their willingness to make a difference in the lives of others.
