We will start taking applications for the 25-26 school year on October 1, 2024. The application deadline for new students is February 7, 2025. You may apply anytime within the time frame above. If you are waiting to tour, feel free to tour and then apply. You will have until February 7th, 2025, to apply.
Availability
Not all grades are available for the 25-26 school year. We will start a waitlist below for the grades that are not available. If a spot becomes available, we will give everyone on the waitlist the opportunity to apply.
Decisions
Decisions are not made on a first come basis. Our admissions committee will review your child’s reports cards, Reading & Math standardized test scores, Reading and Math new student assessment or K assessment, principal and teacher recommendation forms, conduct, attendance, and IEP/504 support plans (if applicable) to make candidate selections.

The documents below must be submitted with the application.
- VPK Star results/progress report for children entering Kindergarten.
- Current Report Card for children entering 1st-8th grades.
- Previous two year’s report cards.
- Reading and Math FSA scores for the last two years (for children in public school)
- Reading and Math standardized test scores for the last two years (for children in other private schools)
- Copies of the IEP/504 support plan (if applicable)
- Copies of the psychoeducational medical evaluation (if applicable)
- Birth certificate
- Baptism certificate (if applicable)
- DH680 Florida Certification of Immunization form
- DH3040 Florida School Entry Health Exam
Immunization Policy for the Diocese of St. Petersburg
Catholic Schools within the Diocese of St. Petersburg require all students to submit a valid Florida Department of Health Certificate of Immunization Form DH 680 through their physician as provided for in Florida Statute 1003.22. Catholic Schools in the Diocese of St. Petersburg do not recognize religious or conscience objections to this immunization requirement. Children enrolled at Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic school must be up to date on the school immunization requirements. Students entering 7th grade must have Diphtheria-tetanus-acellular pertussis (DTaP) immunization. The forms below are to be provided to the school.

Age Requirements
Age requirements, according to Florida State Law, are followed. A child must be five (5) years of age on or before September 1 of the current school year to be admitted to kindergarten. In order to enter first grade, a child must have satisfactorily completed kindergarten and be six (6) years of age on or before September 1 of the current school year. Exceptions may be made for out of state transfers.
