Curriculum

Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School provides an unparalleled education for children in grades K-8. We are committed to academic excellence and to developing each student in an environment that celebrates Catholic Social Teachings. Our curriculum, instruction, and assessments work together to develop students that are not only knowledgeable, faith-filled, and compassionate, but also students who demonstrate the skills of collaboration, critical thinking, and concern for others. Like all Catholic schools in the Diocese of St. Petersburg, we utilize the Florida Core Standards and Next Generation Standards infused with our Catholic identity.  Across all grade levels, we continuously surpass the expectations of the Florida Core and Next Generation Standards. We are sensitive to the unique needs of each individual student as we pursue the paramount goal of education: instilling a love of learning in a Christ-centered environment. Upon graduation from MTC, our students excel academically, spiritually and socially, in high school, college, and beyond.
